Elektromontaż Wschód, as a general contractor, carried out a comprehensive modernization of the station.
The scope of work included:
- part concerning land development and construction,
- sanitary installations,
- high voltage primary circuits,
- medium voltage primary circuits,
- high voltage secondary circuits,
- medium voltage secondary circuits,
- measurement of electric energy,
- telemechanics and telecommunications,
- technical protection system of the station,
- full reconstruction of the 110kV switchgear, 110kV bays equipped with Hypact modules and the modernization of the 15kV switchgear,
- construction of new stations for own needs,
- construction of new capacitor bank stations,
- construction of roads, communication routes and the station drainage system,
- reconstruction of auxiliary switchgear and 110 kV control room,
- installation of an area protection system (monitoring, alarm, traffic barriers), in addition, a ventilation and air-conditioning system has been installed in the building.
