We have commenced the implementation of a new energy storage (BESS) investment with a capacity of 60 MW and 240 MWh.
The project includes the comprehensive delivery of technical and construction infrastructure, with completion and full commissioning of the energy storage facility planned for the end of 2026.
Under the contract, we will be responsible for the construction of a 4-line medium-voltage (MV) connection, which will supply power to the entire energy storage system. A key part of the scope also includes electrical works, comprising the installation of 9 PCS stations with transformers, as well as 4 auxiliary power stations supplying, among others, battery cooling systems, internal lighting, and the Fire Suppression System (gas-based fire extinguishing system).
On foundations previously completed by us, we will install and connect 51 DC battery containers, forming the core of the entire energy storage facility. The project scope also includes comprehensive construction and infrastructure works, including:
installation of fencing,
construction of sanitary and telecommunications networks,
installation of CCTV and intrusion detection systems,
construction of internal roads and maneuvering areas.
The energy storage facility under construction will operate in close correlation with a photovoltaic installation, storing surplus energy generated from renewable energy sources and feeding it back into the grid during periods of increased demand. This solution will enable efficient power balancing, increased grid flexibility, and maximum utilization of renewable energy.
