Elmont, commissioned by PGE, has successfully completed the construction of a 110 kV network switchboard for the connection of the Lipińskie Małe Traction Substation.
The scope of work included technical documentation with the necessary permits and construction of the RS 110kV Lipińskie Małe network switchboard with accompanying infrastructure (station building, cable canalization, internal roads, exit and fencing). The project also involved integrating the RS station into the 110 kV Ełk-Grajewo line, which required replacing a high-voltage pole, reconstructing fiber-optic paths, and building a medium-voltage (MV) connection for auxiliary power. This included installing a container transformer station (MV/low voltage), a pole structure in the MV line, and constructing MV and LV cable lines.
The 110 kV outdoor switchyard was designed as a four-field, double-section H2 layout with a single busbar system. The line fields were equipped with line and busbar disconnectors with earthing switches, circuit breakers, and current and voltage transformers. The bus coupler field was outfitted with busbar disconnectors and earthing switches.
The facility was built, commissioned, and handed over for use in just seven months—10 months ahead of the contractual deadline!
